A. Registration is very simple & free of cost. Just log on to www.Laganutsav.com and REGISTER FREE by filling the details in the registration form.
Q. Can someone else register on his/her behalf?
A. Yes, Any one can register a profile for ‘Self’ or for Son, Daughter, Relative/Friends etc.
Q. Is Email Address required to create a profile?
A. Yes, you need to enter a valid email address to create the profile. Every Email address is unique for every Profile and hence cannot be re-used to create or update another profile.
Q. Can I use same phone number for more than one profile?
A. No, One mobile number is used only for one profile.
Q. How soon will my profile be visible in the search list?
A. All profiles registered on the site undergo a basic screening of content and photographs. Then the account will be activated and visible/searchable on the site. This process may take up to 24 hours.
Q. How can I upload photos on my profile?
A. Uploading the photo is recommended but it's not mandatory. Profiles with photographs get more responses. Upload the photo by below steps:
Login to your account and go to My profile section.
i) Select photos for your Profile Photo and some more photos for your gallery from your
computer/Mobile gallery.
ii) Select and upload.
iii) The photo(s) will get uploaded and will be made visible to other member within 24 hrs. after basic screening.
Q. Can I change my E mail address/ Phone number on the profile?
A. No, you cannot change your E mail or phone number once registered.
Q. I am unable to verify the Phone number, what should I do?
A. On Registration page, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number for Verification. In case of any issues, please reach out to the Customer Support at support@laganutsav.com
Q. Is registration Free of cost on Laganutsav.com?
A. Registration on Laganutsav.com is free of cost.
Q. Can I see profile details free of cost?
A. Yes, As a free member, you can see a limited number of profile free of cost. If you wish to see
more number of contact details, then you will have to upgrade to a paid membership plan.
Q. Can I register on behalf of someone else?
A. Yes, you can register on behalf of someone else.
Q. Can I register for my sister/brother and myself with the same Matrimony ID?
A. No, A Matrimony ID identifies each person uniquely. Please register separate profiles for you and
your siblings.
Q. Can I register for my friend, relative or sibling?
A. Yes, you can.
Login Details
Q. How do I login?
A. Click on the login button on the Home page and enter your registered e-mail ID and password into the respective fields in login box and click submit button.
Q. If I forget the password then How to recover it.?
A. Just click on the Forgot password field, and enter the registered mobile number and new password. Your new password will be updated on confirming the OTP.
Q. How to change my password?
A. In your account panel Just click on the change password field, and enter the registered mobile number and new password. Your new password will be updated on confirming the OTP.
Q. Why the message “You are not an authorized user” is coming?
A. You must not be registered on www.laganutsav.com, that’s why this message is coming.
Q. Why the message “Invalid username or password” is coming?
A. You must be entering either wrong E mail ID or wrong password. Password is case sensitive, lower or upper case. Kindly check the caps button. E mail ID should be the same, which you entered at the time of registration.
Q. What should I do if I forget the E mail ID?
In that case, drop a mail at support@laganutsav.com with all your other details like mobile number, DOB, city, state, etc. . . . Our team will verify your details and will provide your E mail ID on successful verification.
PROFILE CREATION
Q. What is full profile?
A. It is the view of your profile as others see it. To take a look at your full profile: Login using your registered e-mail ID and Password. Click My Profile link.
Q. How many photos can I add?
A. You can add one profile photo and up to five gallery photos. Photo must be in jpg format, no
larger than 10 MB.
Q. How to upload photos?
A. Login using your your registered E mail ID and Password. Click on
my profile section. Then click on add photo link. In the add photo page, Select your photo
In jpg. format and click to Upload Photos.
Q. What is photo validation process?
A. Every photo posted on our website involves a manual screening. The turn around time for
validation is 24 hour. Only after the photo is validated it will be available for all members to
see.
Q. How do I protect my photo?
A. This is an exclusive feature available only to paid members. If you do not want to show your
Photo publically, you can simply hide your photo in profile section and it will not be visible
Publically.
Q. What is photo security?
A. This is a feature by which each photo will have a laganutsav.com watermark image. This helps to protect the photo and hence the photo cannot be copied or tampered.
Q. What is change Password?
A. If you would like to change your login password, you can use this option. To change your password, login using your registered E-mail ID and existing Password.
Click on change password link under My Account heading. Enter existing password, new password and confirm password. Your new password will be updated on confirming the OTP. Your Password must have a minimum of 6 characters .It is preferable to choose an alphanumeric Password with upper and lower case letters and special characters. E.g. Lagan@#&2456. It is advisable to change your password regularly.
Q. What are the Do’s while creating your profile?

While creating a matrimonial profile, give brief information about yourself in the profile description part. Your personality (what kind of a person you are, your likes and dislikes).
Your educational and professional details including your achievements.
Your family (how many members, family values- orthodox/conservative or modern).
Your career plans. Your expectations from your life partner. Add a recent photograph to improve chances of getting responses. Please remember that Profiles with photos have 10 times better chances of getting proposals.
Q. What are the Don’ts while creating your profile?
Don'ts
Please do not give a lengthy description. Try to keep your description short and to the point.
Please do not try to display your contact details in your profile, except in the space provided for contact details. Do not include content that is obscene/vulgar or racist.

SEARCH PROFILES
Q. How can I search profiles of my choice?
A. i) On website home page you can select basic search filters like age, Religion, caste/community
and mother tongue to search the profile of your choice.
ii) For more advance search based on Marital status, Manglik status, Professional field,
City and state based filters, go to your dashboard and select Preference Filter, choose the
fields of your choice and search for your advanced preferences.
iii) You can quickly search profiles listed by Mother tongues and listed by Religion on your
homepage itself.
Q. How can I set my Partner Preference in the profile?
A. Go to your dashboard and select Preference Filter on the left side, choose the fields of your choice and search for your preferences.
Q. Can I filter out or restrict certain people to contact me?
A. Yes, You can. If you donot want some person to contact you. You can simply block that profile
By clicking on block icon on extreme right side of profile page and that profile will be filtered
out in “Blocked Users ” section on your home page.
Q. Can I receive recommendations/alerts on my E mail address as well?
A. Yes. You can receive such alerts on your E mails where the system will search the best recommendations for you. Please ensure to check junk/spam folder in your mailbox, in case you are unable to receive such mails in your Inbox.
Q. How can I know, who has visited my profile?
A. To know who has visited your profile, you can go to “Profile viewed by others” section on your
home page”.
Q. Can I shortlist profiles that I like on laganutsav.com?
A. Yes, you can shortlist the profiles you like by clicking on blue coloured heart shaped icon on right
side of user’s detail page. The shortlisted profiles will be visible In “ Shortlisted profiles” section
for later use.
Q. Can I delete the shortlist profiles that I like on laganutsav.com?
A. Yes, you can delete the shortlisted profiles by clicking on the blue coloured heart shaped icon.
Q. Can I print the profile I like?
A. Yes, you can directly print the profile you like by just clicking the print icon on right side of
profile page and the profile will be printed in pdf format.
How To Contact
Q. How can I contact a member?
A. You can send an e mail to the member whose profile you like. Alternatively you can also directly call that member if that member has provided his/her mobile number publically. We recommend you to first contact on E mail before making phone call.
Q. How do I chat?
A. You can chat with other members online only if you have bought our chat plan. Then after login, You can go to the member's profile and click on "Chat" link to start chatting.
Q. With how many members, can I chat?
A. It depends on the chat plan you have bought, different chat plans have different number of chat limits.
Q. How many chat messages can I send to a member?
A. You can send as many as messages to a member with whom you have initiated chat.
Q. Can a free member initiate chat?
A. No. Only a paid membership enables a member to initiate chat. You have to buy our chat plan to initiate chat.
Q. Can free member view all the profiles ?
A. Free member has very limited number of profiles to view. To view more number of profiles, free member has to buy our paid membership plan.
Q. What are the packages available ?
A. There are different types of packages available depending on the requirement of different users, depending on the duration, number of profile views and number of chat user limits. You have to login on our website www.laganutsav.com to view our different package plans.
Q. What are the different types of modes of payment?
A. You can make online payments through credit card/debit card/UPI and net banking.
Online payment is the easiest, fastest and secured mode of payment.
Q. Is online payment secure?
A. Yes, Online payment is very secure. Our payment gateway provider adopts the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, an internationally proven widely accepted technology that ensures highest level of security while transacting on the net, preventing unauthorised access.
Q. How long it will take my payment to reflect in my account ?
A. On completing the successful payment, it will be reflected in your account immediately.

A. Yes, you will get a detailed invoice in “My package” section under your account panel after completing the successful payment. You can also download/Print the invoice in pdf format.
Q. Do I have to pay extra GST in my package plan?
A. No, You do not have to pay extra GST. All the prices are inclusive of GST.
